A number of technology of use of ferroalloys assumes their preliminary crushing, and is frequent up to fraction 1 mm and less (<0,315 mm, <0,2 mm, <100 microns, <50 microns, etc.).

Sufficient the wide spectrum of the ferroalloys applied in the form of thindisperpse of powders, or assumes necessity of knowledge of many physicomechanical properties of alloys and their structures, a choice of optimum variants of the crushing including: selection of the process equipment, parameters and modes of its work, definition of necessity of use gas (oxidizing, regenerative, neutral) environments, a choice of necessary gas purification, etc.
